Pervaiz Elahi challenges his detention under 3 MPO. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, the president of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and a former chief minister of the Punjab, contested his detention under Section 3 of the MPO.
Elahi’s attorney, Aamir Syed, submitted a plea on his behalf to the Lahore High Court. Respondents in the petition include the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), and the Anti-Corruption, IG Punjab, and DC Lahore.
