Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi met his ally and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
He assures him that the provincial government will make all possible arrangements for the security of the former prime minister.
According to a media report, Pervaiz Elahi meets Imran Khan on an occasion when a heavy force of Islamabad police deploys outside Imran Khan’s residence, Bani Gala on Monday.
The supporters camp out side Bani Gala. Imran Khan was granted bail by the Islamabad High Court while the government also removed the police.

After the meeting, the PTI media cell said in a statement that Chief Minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi expressed ‘serious reservations’ over the steps taken by the federal government against Imran Khan.
He expresses his determination that Punjab Government is with PTI in all circumstances.
The statement said that the two leaders discussed the current political situation and public welfare projects in the meeting, the chief minister’s son Moonis Elahi also participated in the meeting.
Apart from this, the former prime minister also met the members of the National Assembly and the Senate, during which the two leaders condemned the acceptance of the resignations of the members of the National Assembly of PTI.
According to party sources, the participants of the meeting agreed that there is a nexus between the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Election Commission of Pakistan and the imported government.
