Petrol Price Increased To Rs. 209.86 Per Liter

With the announcement of increase in prices of petroleum products, there was a rush of citizens at petrol pumps.

It may be recalled that the government has further increased the price of petrol and diesel in the country by Rs. 30 with this announcement, the citizens turned to the petrol pumps to buy the cheap petrol and diesel available for a few hours.

Consumers rush to petrol pumps in Islamabad Citizens are trying to fill car tanks before the new prices apply at 12 midnight.

Meanwhile, queues of vehicles formed at various petrol pumps in Karachi.

Citizens complained that petrol pumps were not providing petrol.

In Lahore also, there was a rush of vehicles and motorbikes at petrol pumps.

Three to five hundred rupees are being poured into motorbikes while petrol up to one thousand rupees is being poured into vehicles.

On the other hand, the rush of vehicles at petrol pumps in Peshawar also reached a large number of motorcyclists.

It may be mentioned that the price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 209.86 per liter while the price of diesel has been fixed at Rs 204.15 per liter.

Similarly, the price of light diesel oil was increased to Rs 178 per liter while the price of kerosene was increased to Rs 181.94 per liter.

During the press conference, Federal Minister for Finance Miftah Ismail had said that the new prices of petroleum products would come into effect from June 3.
