PML-N set to start election campaign. In a decision made on Sunday, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) decided to launch its election campaign.
Maryam Nawaz, senior vice president of the PML-N, met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and gave him a message from PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif. The former prime minister instructed the party to make public the election campaign performance of the PTI.
Additionally, Mr. Sharif gave the party the go-ahead to create a committee for the election manifesto and to include the action plan of offering accessible loans and employment opportunities in the narrative.
PM Shehbaz and Ms. Nawaz talked about the nation’s political climate during the meeting.
The party’s provincial presidents were requested to provide a report by the premier regarding the election ballots in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Suleman Shehbaz and Hamza Shehbaz, two former chief ministers of Punjab, were also present.
On the other hand, PML-N leader Mian Javed Latif declared that his party would not change the composition of any seats or form an alliance with any political group.
A distinction between a politician and a terrorist needs to be made, Mr. Latif said during a press conference. He claimed that dividing the nation into small groups and factions would not bring about prosperity.
“Only the people can complete the transaction. We haven’t struck any agreements with anyone else,” he made it clear.
In relation to the elections, he stated that the PML-N would run under its own banner. He continued, “Everyone else has a right to a level playing field.”
