Former US President Donald Trump has said that British Prince Harry will not be given special treatment if he becomes president.
According to foreign media, Donald Trump said that the Biden administration was very kind to the British couple.
The former US president said that British Prince Harry cheated on Queen Elizabeth II, and that Prince Harry cannot be forgiven.
Donald Trump said that if elected president, I will not help Prince Harry. If it is in my power to decide, Harry will be responsible for himself.
Remember that British Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle moved to America in 2020.
Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Saturday, Trump said of Harry: “I’m not going to protect him. He betrayed the Queen. It’s inexcusable. If it was up to me, he’d be on his own.”
On Joe Biden’s approach to Harry, he added: “I think he’s been very kind to him after what he’s done.”
The bad blood arguably goes back to a 2016 Comedy Central panel discussion in which Meghan said before she engaged to Harry that she would move to Canada if Trump elected, calling him “divisive” and “misogynistic.”
Fast forward to 2019, and Trump, visiting the UK as president, was to meet the royal family at a state reception — which now included Meghan Markle. Asked beforehand how he felt about meeting his critic, Trump replied that he had no idea Markle was being “rude” towards him.
In 2022, Trump said in an interview with prominent Meghan critic Piers Morgan that “Harry whipped like I don’t think I’ve ever seen.”
He said the couple would end up divorcing, saying, “It’s going to end, and it’s going to end badly… I want to know what’s going to happen when Harry decides that he has Enough to be the boss. Or maybe when she decides she likes something. Another guy is better. I want to know what’s going to happen when it’s over, okay?”
