PTI long march – Business community upset

Due to PTI long march business community upset – PTI protest in different cities of the country, repeat changes in the schedule of long marches and then restarts, local businessmen are facing severe financial loss in business as the delivery of their goods is interrupted.

According to a reports, Waheed Tanda, the former president of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GTCCI), says that after the PTI long march that started on November 3. The business of local traders has severely damage. Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Wazirabad consider the industrial heartland of Pakistan.

He says that due to the delay in the supply of raw materials because of long, many factories have closed down or are at a standstill. Especially in the pottery, electric fans, and daily wage workers in the plastic pipe sector lose their jobs.

He also says that the country is already facing delays in the supply of goods like fruits, vegetables and raw materials. While PTI long march is causing serious damage to the already unstable economic conditions of the country.

He stats, due to the protest, trucks and other transports are stop and the roads are block. On the other hand, the city administration and the police are not cooperating with the traders.

Later the local traders approached the representatives of GTCCI and express serious concern about the situation and demand the government to designate specific places for the protestors.

Local fruit vendor talks, due to the security arrangements of the long march last week, small fruit and vegetable carts could not do proper business on GT Road.
