PTI protests in various cities of Punjab

Party workers protests across Punjab. They block roads and damage government property against the attack on PTI Chairman Imran Khan during the long march.

PTI activists severely damages government property outside the Governor House in Lahore, causing a traffic jam on the Mall Road.

On the other hand, some PTI workers try to enter the Governor House by jumping the gate and hoisted party flags. While other protesters try to cross the barricades put up by the law enforcement officials.

Earlier, the members of PTI also gathered here. Traffic affected at Thokar Niaz Baig and Shahdara Chowk besides Mall Road GPO intersection due to the protest.

PTI lawyers also tried to enter the cantonment to protest outside the Corps Commander’s House but stopped by the Military Police (MP).

To deal with any untoward situation, the number of military police increases at the entry and exit points of the Corps Commander.

However, the protestors blocked Ring Road, Harbanspora Interchange, Ferozepur Road, Walton Road and also stopped motorcyclists from moving forward.

It is also worth mentioning here that PTI workers protests at 25 places in Punjab, including Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Bhakkar, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, DG Khan, Rajanpur, Sialkot, Layyah, Gujrat, Wahari, Muzaffargarh, Alipur, Mianwali, Sahiwal and Okara.

On the other hand, several areas in Gujarat including Shaheen Bypass Road were closed for traffic. Protests were held in Rafiq Shah in Bahawalpur, besides workers protested in Rajanpur, Chowk Allahabad, Rojhan, Fazalpur and Jampur.

Apart from this, the protesters had also blocked Gadai Mor Road in Kot Sultan area of ​​Layyah.
