LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to remove 11 toll plazas across the province in a proposal to provide release to the citizens, ARY News reported on Thursday.
The judgement taken throughout the Punjab Cabinet’s meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz. Throughout the meeting, it decided to remove 11 toll plazas across the province to provide relief to the citizens.
In the interim, the chief minister had focused the concerned authorities to guarantee ventilation in prison vans. The gathering also decided to prolong the release policy of wheat for two months.
The meeting also permitted the formation of Cabinet Committee on Wheat, which controlled by the Provincial Minister for Food. The Punjab Cabinet also accepted Provincial Assembly (Privileges) Bill 2022 and Provincial Assembly (Secretariat Service) Bill 2022.
The provincial cabinet also protracted the contract of DG Punjab Forensic Science Agency due to its performance. Furthermore, the conference has decided to purchase operational vehicles for the police.
Talking throughout the meeting, the chief minister said that capacity-building and training programs launched for forensic specialists.
Previously in the day, it reported that Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shehbaz decided to add 19 more ministers to his cabinet, the news members would take oath on June 17.
According to particulars, a total of five advisors, five special assistants to the Chief Minister and 10 ministers are predictable to be involved in the cabinet.
