Punjab: Soft smog lockdown. A meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Anti-Smog has been convened today by Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi to consider the proposals to impose a soft smog lockdown to combat smog.

According to the sources, it will be proposed to close the markets, gyms, cinemas, theaters, factories and restaurants on Saturdays during the meeting while only take-away and home delivery will be done.
Sources say that there is a proposal to limit public and private vehicles, half of the employees will also work in government offices.

According to sources, a proposal has also been prepared to install culverts after the soft lockdown on Friday and Saturday.
