Receiving money from overseas Pakistanis is not foreign funding: Imran Khan

Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that taking money from a foreign country or a multinational company is foreign funding, taking money from Pakistanis living abroad is not foreign funding.

If this is foreign funding, then what will you say to the 31 billion dollars remittances of overseas Pakistanis?

He said while addressing the protest demonstration against the Election Commission, today the protest against the Election Commission is happening for some reason, Islamabad has been turned into a fortress.

Yes, it seems as if someone is attacking from outside, it is our constitutional and legal right to protest peacefully, we have always tried to stay within the constitution and law so that there is no harm to the country, why are they so afraid? I want to tell what is the fear? If it is to be found that once Islamabad is closed, they fear that they have lost the constitutional government of Pakistan which has come out of every difficulty, the bank corrupt economy, the corona epidemic which comes once in a century, then the commodities. The prices in the world increased, they kept everyone under control, but they brought down the government under a conspiracy that people would distribute sweets, PTI’s funeral went out, but Allah changed the hearts of the people and the nation came out on the streets.
We called for a peaceful protest on May 25, but they brutalized, I will never forget, brutalized D Chowk, their police, Rangers firing rubber bullets, shelling, theirs was to suppress them.

They will sit quietly like sheep, the administration was in collusion with them, they thought they would win by rigging, but the nation came out and lost the election despite the rigging, they used money to buy and loot the people.
