The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has given its decision on the request of Chairman PTI, former Prime Minister Imran Khan for exemption from attendance today in the case of threatening a female judge. Request to issue Imran Khan’s arrest warrant rejected.
Senior Civil Judge Rana Mujahid Rahim heard the case of Imran Khan threatening a woman judge. During which his lawyer Naeem Panjutha and prosecutor Rizwan Abbasi appeared in the court.
During the hearing, Imran Khan’s request for exemption from attendance on medical grounds filed in the court.
Lawyer Naeem Panjotha took a stand that Imran Khan’s health is not allowing him to come to Islamabad. Imran Khan advised by doctors to rest.
Prosecutor Rizwan Abbasi objected to Imran Khan’s request for exemption from attendance and said that chairman PTI is not appearing by attaching the medical report of his own hospital, Shaukat Khanum Hospital is a cancer hospital, his problem is different, fracture.
The prosecutor requested the court to cancel Imran Khan’s bail bond and issue an arrest warrant.
Imran Khan’s lawyer Naeem Haider Panjotha submitted his reply. And argued that a person who talks about the rule of law can never break the law.
The court reserved its decision on Imran Khan’s request for exemption from attendance today. And the request to issue a warrant against him.

After some time, the court, giving a reserved verdict, accepted Imran Khan’s request for exemption from today’s appearance, while rejecting the request of the prosecutor to issue an arrest warrant for Imran Khan and adjourned the hearing of the case till March 9.
