Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz Saturday accepted the resignation of provincial health minister Khawaja Salman Rafiq, reported News channel.
Kh Salman Rafiq has presented his resignation to Punjab chief minister for personal reasons.
It is the second ministerial-level resignation in the grades of the majority party in the recently ruling coalition both at the federal and provincial level, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz as Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has also tendered his resignation to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif over personal reasons.
Both the ministers are from Lahore. Kh Salman Rafiq’s elder brother, Kh Saad Rafiq is also a Federal Minister for Railways and Aviation.
