The Islamabad High Court ordered the Sessions Judge to re-hear the government’s plea for further physical remand of Shahbaz Gill.
Acting Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Aamir Farooq is hearing the case of extradition and further physical remand of PTI leader Shahbaz Gill, arrested on charges of inciting sedition.
The Supreme Court declared that the petition against the order of the Judicial Magistrate was maintainable.

The Islamabad High Court ordered that the Sessions Judge hear the petition and decide on the merits.
The court also ordered the session judge to hear the petition today.
Earlier, the Islamabad High Court had reserved its decision regarding the admissibility of the government’s request for physical remand of Shahbaz Gill.
Shahbaz Gill has approached the court to dismiss the case, while the prosecution has challenged the magistrate’s decision not to grant physical remand.
