Chief of Staff of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Chairman PTI Imran Khan Shahbaz Gill has confessed to the crime of making a statement against the army.
In the statement given to the police, Shahbaz Gill said that he spoke carefully and did not say anything outside of the party policy.
On the other hand, Shahbaz Gill underwent a medical examination in PIMS, in which no violence was proved.
Police officials say that no PTI official or family member has come to the police station to inquire, they are collecting evidence, the scope of the case can be extended from Islamabad to the provinces.
Police raided the house of Shahbaz Gill’s driver-cum-assistant Izhar Hidayatullah, but the driver escaped. Izhar Hidayatullah’s wife and brother-in-law Noman Zafar Iqbal was arrested on charges of resisting the police, interfering with government and theft by force.
According to police sources, the person tweeting from Shahbaz Gilll’s phone was an accomplice of the accused, the driver took the phone, the recovery was a dummy.

In the statement given to the police, Shahbaz Gill said that in my opinion, I did not give this statement out of party policy, the statement was thought out.
A case of sedition has been registered against Shahbaz Gill in Islamabad’s Kohsar police station on the complaint of the city magistrate.
According to the text of the FIR, Shahbaz Gill said the words on the TV channel along with his colleagues to fulfill an agenda.
It has been stated in the FIR that the purpose of the statement and speech was to spread hatred and conspiracy among the people against the army.
Shahbaz Gill made a statement to spread chaos in the country and weaken and divide the army.
According to the text of the FIR, Shahbaz Gill made a statement to harm the integrity of Pakistan and was guilty of criminal conspiracy while fulfilling an anti-national agenda.
Meanwhile, the Kohsar police raided and arrested Shahbaz Shabbir Gill’s driver-cum-assistant Izhar Hidayatullah’s wife and relative Noman Zafar Iqbal on charges of resisting the police, interfering with the government and stealing by force.
Hezbollah, Izharullah, Sardar Imran and Zafar Iqbal have registered a case of resistance against many unknown persons.
Meanwhile, Islamabad Police has said that the raid on the house of Shahbaz Gill’s driver, the arrest process is legal, all the evidences have been collected.
According to the details, during the investigation, the accused Shahbaz Gill said that he had given his mobile phone containing the information to the driver before the arrest.
According to the case filed in the complaint of ASI Waris Ali, in the light of Shahbaz Gill’s statement, a seven-member police team raided the in-laws of driver Izhar Hidayatullah to recover Shahbaz Gill’s mobile phone, but the people present resisted.
They choked the neck of the constable and snatched the mobile phone, ATM card, departmental card and 15 thousand rupees from the constable.
The police have arrested the wife and brother of the driver, and raids are on to arrest the other accused.
