The famous Indian broadcaster Star Sports has decided not to make its famous ‘Mauka Mauka’ advertising series for the Asia Cup 2022 match between Pakistan and India.
The ‘Mauka Mauka’ campaign has been very popular in India since Star Sports created it before the 2015 ICC World Cup match between the two countries.
The ad was intended to mock Pakistan’s terrible record against India in the World Cup.
But now their game has turned upside down and the broadcasters have decided not to continue the campaign as Babar XI handed India a humiliating 10-wicket defeat in the previous match.
Under the leadership of Babar Azam, the team broke the streak of not getting success against India in the World Cup by winning against India by ten wickets in the 2021 T20 World Cup.
The arch-rivals will face each other on August 28 at the Dubai International Stadium. The two sides could play each other in the Super 4 of the competition on September 4 and meet again in the final on September 11 if they both manage to qualify.
