State Bank of Pakistan issued six working days a week and revised working hours

Karachi: According to the decision of the Federal Government, Statement Bank of Paksitan (SBP) will be open for business six days a week, and during the month of Ramadan, the following office hours will be implemented by all the Banks, development financial institutions (DFIs) and microfinance Banks.

Office hours will be Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be a break for prayers from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm, while office hours on Fridays will be 8:00 am to 1:00 pm without any break.

Banks / Microfinance Banks are further directed to adhere to the following minimum business (banking) hours for public transactions.

Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm without prayer break. While office hours on Fridays will be 8am to 12pm without a break.
