Kashmiris observe India's Independence Day as Black Day. Today (Tuesday) is Indian Independence Day, and Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and around the world will observe it as Black Day in protest of New Delhi's illegal and forcible occupation of their homeland.

Kashmiris across World observe Black Day to convey a strong message to the world that they reject the illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by India. 27th October in 1947 when Indian troops in entire violation of the spirit of the Partition Plan of the Subcontinent.
