Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that the enemy is active in conspiracies to create a rift between the people and the army.
Addressing the 147th passing out parade at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, the Army Chief said that the pivot of the state is the people of Pakistan. The first and foremost responsibility is loyalty to the state and commitment to the constitutional role assigned to the armed forces of Pakistan.
Army Chief General Asim Munir said that the army is following the ideology of our great leader without caste, color, race, gender or regional discrimination.
He said that for us there is nothing more sacred than the safety and security of the people. No duty is more important than the protection of the motherland.
The Army Chief says that our efforts for peace should not considered weakness in any way. We will not hesitate to make any sacrifice to defend our motherland.
147th passing out ceremony
Army Chief General Asim Munir was the chief guest of the passing out parade.
The cadets who passed out included cadets from Iraq, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Palestine and Bahrain.
The Army Chief reviewed the parade and gave away awards to the cadets who showed outstanding performance.
According to ISPR, the Sword of Honor awarded to Abdullah Bin Tariq, Senior Under Officer of the Academy. And the President’s Gold Medal awarded to Ali Aamir, Senior Under Officer of the Battalion.
The Chief of Army Staff cane awarded to Course Under Officer Muhammad Adnan of 13th Mujahideen Course. Commandant Cane given to Under Officer Adil Ali of 66th Integrated Course.
According to ISPR, Sergeant Major Fatima Khalid of 21st Lady Cadet Course was also awarded Commandant Cane, Under Officer Salman Khan of 6th Basic Military Training Course was also awarded Commandant Cane.
