The Prime Minister banned the export of sugar

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has banned the export of sugar in the country to keep its stock and price stable.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif directed that the need of the people should be met first and the price should be stabilized.

He said that strict measures have also been ordered against smuggling along with export ban, hoarders, profiteers and those who create artificial scarcity will be dealt with severely.

The Prime Minister in his orders asked the concerned agencies to keep them informed of the effective implementation and if there was any negligence or omission, the concerned officers and staff would be held responsible.
