Tribute to Martyrs on ‘Youm-E-Takreem Shuhada-E-Pakistan’. The country will observe “Youm-e-Takreem Shuhada-e-Pakistan” on Thursday in honor of the martyrs who gave their lives defending the country and its citizens.
The Pakistani military’s General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi hosted the day’s main ceremony.
General Asim Munir, the head of the army, former army chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa, former chairman of the joint chiefs of staff committee General (retd) Nadeem Raza, families of the martyrs, captain of the Pakistan cricket team Babar Azam, Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman, members of the law enforcement community, as well as students, teachers, and other members of society, all attended the ceremony. Also positioned at the martyrs’ monument were floral wreaths.
At the Pakistan Naval Headquarters and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Headquarters, separate ceremonies also held.
Throughout the nation, numerous gatherings that include Quran khwani and prayers planned.
These events will give the country a chance to remember the martyrs from the Pakistan Army, Rangers, Frontier Corps, Frontier Constabulary, Police, and other law enforcement agencies who died in the line of duty.
At the martyrs’ memorials, a number of commemorative ceremonies in their honor.
Earlier, the military leadership lavishly praised the national martyrs who gave their lives in defense of Pakistan.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a press release that stated, “The sacrifices of Shuhada eternal, continue to inspire future generations of countrymen, and neverforgotten, irrespective of vicious propaganda by the enemies of Pakistan.”
