Twitter to soon introduce Audio & Video Call feature

Elon Musk, the owner of the Twitter, announced that the audio and video call feature will soon introduced on the platform. Besides the direct encrypted message feature is also will introduce on the app.

Currently, although direct messaging is available on Twitter, it is not encrypted. But now it is adding WhatsApp-style encrypted security. So that messages cannot read by third parties, including Twitter employees. will

In addition, Elon Musk also indicated that in the future a payment feature will also introduced on Twitter, under which users will be able to transact funds.

The news agency ‘Reuters’ reported in its report that Elon Musk announced in his tweet on May 9 that Twitter will soon offer the best feature in the future.

Elon Musk said that the feature of encrypted messages is being added to Twitter from May 10. While other features will also offered on the app in the near future.

He said that in the future, audio and video call feature will introduced on Twitter which will replace the app.

The calling feature will added to Twitter a decade and a half after its introduced. After which it will join platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and applications like WhatsApp.

It is not clear when the payment feature will rolled out on Twitter. But it is likely to take more than a year while the audio and video calling feature will roll out in less than a year.

Since Elon Musk took over Twitter in October 2022, the platform has undergone many changes.
