According to a statement issued by ISPR, an aviation unit of the Pakistan Army had an accident at UN Mission Congo. During the accident, six Pakistani soldiers, including officers aboard the helicopter, were martyred in the crash. While a total of eight personnel, including Pakistani soldiers, were martyred in the crash. The martyred Pakistanis include Lieutenant Colonel Asif, Major Saad, Assistant Pilot Major Faizan Ali, Deputy Subedar Samiullah Khan, Hawaldar Muhammad Ismail, and Crew Chief Muhammad Jamil.
