The Election Commission reserves its decision on the request to remove former Prime Minister Imran Khan from the party chairmanship.
In the Election Commission, a hearing holds on the second request to remove Khan from the party post.
Petitioner Muhammad Afaq appears before the ECP. He plea that after the disqualification of Imran Khan from constituency NA-95 after the Tosha Khana reference. He cannot become the head of any political party under the Political Parties Order and its rules. .
Meanwhile, Barrister Ali Gohar and petitioner Advocate Afaq Ahmed appears before the Election Commission.
During the hearing, Advocate Afaq Ahmed says that the ineligible Khan should remove from the chairmanship. In this case a notice is created automatically. The reasons for the disqualification have been given in the Election Commission decision. It has to be seen whether Imran Khan is honest or not, see Imran Khan’s legal status, he is ineligible.

Later, on the request of Afaq Ahmed, the Election Commission reserves the decision and adjourned the hearing of the case till January 10.
It should recall that the ECP disqualified Imran Khan from the Mianwali seat in the Tosha Khana reference in October.
