We will not take rest until real independence and sovereignty achieved, Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has said that he will not take rest until real independence and sovereignty is achieved, for which The party has decided to ‘march against slavery’ towards Islamabad.

According to details, in a statement, he congratulated the nation on the completion of the month of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr, saying that freedom of thought and action is the greatest of God’s blessings.

Freedom is valued by those who face humiliation like slavery.

Imran Khan said that on the 27th night of Ramadan in 1947, the nation which was bound by the chains of slavery was liberated.

Imperialism persisted in keeping us in the shadow of indirect slavery even after independence and on March 7, the Foreign Office received a letter from the Pakistani Ambassador to the United States.

he letter contained a report of a formal meeting of US officials with our diplomatic staff. When the contents of the letter were placed before me, I was amazed at how arrogantly the US was openly interfering in Pakistan’s internal politics.

The PTI chairman said that the United States has ordered the removal of the Prime Minister and threatens serious consequences if it is not removed.

Political enemies jointly launched a no-confidence movement against the Prime Minister-elect in the National Assembly and the government was overthrown despite the rolling Deputy Speaker.

He said that the sole purpose of the conspiracy was to drive Pakistan to the brink of slavery and to punish this government.

The government was daring to make the interests of the nation the center of an independent foreign policy.

We can never walk on the path of prosperity and development by putting the shackles of slavery around our necks. The dignity of Pakistan is related to this absolute freedom and sovereignty.
