Pakistan’s award-winning broadcast journalist, host and well-known news anchor Mishal Bukhari passed away yesterday at the age of 38. Funeral prayers will offered today.
According to sources, news anchor Mishal Bukhari died due to cancer. Her funeral prayer will offered today at 1:00 PM at Jamia Masjid Al-Muntazar Lahore.
Her husband, anchor person Ameer Abbas tweeted, “My wife, journalist Mishal Bukhari, beautiful heart, unique personality, incredibly patient, incredibly brave woman, fought cancer bravely for two years. Left an unbearable shock.”
She was born on 08 July 1984 in Karachi, Sindh and started her journalism career as an anchor person in a private TV channel. She also served in Pakistan Television Network. Social media users, including journalists, are deeply sad by the well-known news anchor Mishal Bukhari passed away news.

Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb expresses grief over the death. In a condolence message saying that Ms. Bukhari deeply saddened by the news and her services to the media industry will never forgotten.
Senior journalist Rauf Klasra, who appeared alongside Ms Bukhari as an expert on the talk show Muqabal, described her death as a great loss. He tweeted, “Deeply saddened by the death of Mishal Bukhari… such a decent and wonderful woman.”
