Nabeel Qureshi recently appeared as a guest on a web show where he spoke about the global reach of Pakistani cinema.
He has said about the non-accessibility of Pakistani web series and films to Netflix that Pakistani content does not get a place on Netflix due to the tension between Pakistan and India.
The Pakistani producer said that since the tension between India and Pakistan has increased thats Why Pakistani web series and movies not aired on Netflix. I have been telling people this very clearly, but they don’t understand.
Explaining his point, he said that the first head office of Netflix is in Los Angeles while they have opened their regional office in India and there is no access to Pakistan.
Nabeel Qureshi said that one thing should be kept in mind that the fifth-generation war is going on in the world and now this India-Pakistan friendship is fine only to the extent of words but now it is not possible on real basis.
He said that the establishment of Netflix’s regional office in India greatly affected the access of Pakistani content to Netflix. Paying so little that there is no point.

The Pakistani producer said that there is no doubt that the Indian industry is huge and they can probably run 10 more products like Netflix comfortably because they have so much content, because the Indian industry is huge. It has been running for the last 100 years.
He added that there is a lot of similarity in our language, maybe if we had a different language, we would have got a different place, but if an Indian film is released, it is watched with great enthusiasm in our country.
