The well-known actor of the film and TV industry Haroon Shahid has revealed that Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor was offered the lead role in Shoaib Mansoor film ‘Verna’ before Mahira Khan.
Actor Haroon Shahid recently appeared as a guest in the Ramadan transmission of a private TV channel.
During this time, he talked about many interesting topics and also made a surprising revelation about the Pakistani film ‘Verna’ which was released in 2017.
Haroon Shahid had said that Kareena Kapoor was initially offered the lead role in his and Mahira Khan’s film ‘Verna’ but Kareena could not accept the offer.
Haroon Shahid further said that when the film’s director Shoaib Mansoor told him that Kareena Kapoor was going to work opposite him, he was very happy, but after Kareena Kapoor’s refusal, Mahira Khan was cast for the lead role.
Explaining the reason why Kareena Kapoor did not work in the film, the actor had to say that Kareena Kapoor was married and later she was pregnant, so she could not work in ‘Verna’.
It should be remembered that the director and writer of the movie ‘Verna’ was Shoaib Mansoor.
