Woman allegedly raped at Margalla Hills hiking trail. On a hiking trail in the Margalla Hills within the jurisdiction of the Kohsar police station, a man accused of raping a woman while holding her at gunpoint.

At the Kohsar police station in Islamabad in the wee hours of the morning, an FIR filed on the complaint of the rape survivor under Section 376 (punishment for rape) of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The accused contacted the survivor via WhatsApp, according to the survivor, a few months ago. Noman revealed to her that he worked as an accountant in the division of education during their conversation.

The FIR quotes the complainant as saying, “He told me he was an accountant in the education department, where some vacancies were available, and he asked for Rs50,000 in return for the job.”

She informed the authorities that the suspect had also asked her to travel to Rawalpindi, where she had arrived on Wednesday, July 12.

According to the FIR, the woman, a Muridke resident in the Sheikhupura district, agreed to travel to Islamabad for the interview in exchange for money.

Woman allegedly raped at Margalla Hills hiking trail. On Wednesday, she arrived in Rawalpindi and stayed with a relative. She met Noman that day and gave him Rs30,000. After getting the job, she supposed to pay the remaining Rs. 20,000, according to the FIR.

Both parties agreed to meet the following day, Thursday, when the horrific crime committed, according to the FIR. She claimed that her assailant armed and that if she tried to yell for help or later seek legal assistance, she would suffer terrible consequences.

According to the complaint, the suspect threatened her once more before dropping her off at the final bus stop in Tench Bhatta.
