Bollywood actress Malaika Arora says that in our society, if a woman forms a relationship or marries a man less than herself, then this act is considered as an ‘insult’ to the woman.
According to the Indian newspaper ‘Hindustan Times’, Malaika Arora, while talking to fashion magazine ‘Hello’, for the first time spoke openly about her divorced life and her relationship with a man younger than her.
Speaking on the occasion, Malaika Arora said that women should start living again after divorce, they need to live again after marriage.
Talking to the magazine, the actress said that in our society, there is an outdated attitude towards women’s relations and divorce.
According to the actress, she has lived her life independently without caring about anyone and with age, she is trying to make her life stronger.
During the interview, Malaika Arora did not elaborate further on her relationship nor did she talk about Arjun Kapoor and her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan.
Malaika Arora has been in the news for the past few years due to her relationship with 12-year-old Arjun Kapoor and there are reports that the two are also planning to get married.
The two have been in a relationship since 2017 and have confessed their love for each other in front of the media several times but clearly they have not hinted at getting married.
The two have been seen together several times in the last five years and Malaika Arora has been heavily criticized for her relationship with a younger actor.
At present Malaika Arora is 48 years old while Arjun Kapoor is 36 years old and the actress has a 19 year old son from her first marriage.
Malaika Arora first married Arbaaz Khan in 1998 and they had their first child in 2002. Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora separated in 2016 and were formally divorced in 2017.
Immediately after the divorce, news came out that a relationship had been established between the actress and Arjun Kapoor.
