World Cup: Shaheen Afridi equals Wasim Akram’s record

National cricket team fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has equaled the record of Sultan of Swing former captain Wasim Akram.

Shaheen equaled the record of taking most wickets by a Pakistani fast bowler in one edition of the World Cup.

The left-arm fast bowler took a total of 18 wickets in the World Cup 2023.

Remember that Wasim Akram also took 18 wickets in the 1992 World Cup.
