2 Pakistan telecom companies block around 3500 SIMs.
According to the spokesperson of the Federal Board of Revenue, a telecom company had obtained an injunction from the Islamabad High Court.
The spokesperson of FBR says that the SIMs of the citizens who filed the return will be restored immediately.
Last week, the Islamabad High Court remarked in the case of blocking the mobile SIMs of tax non-filers that it did not block the SIMs but only prevented the action against the private company.
It should be noted that an agreement has been reached between the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and telecom operators on the issue of blocking the sims of non-filers across the country, under which the series of blocking the sims of non-filers has started from May 10.
