The Legend of Maula Jatt first Pakistani film to earn a record 200 cr. Director Bilal Lashari and producer Amara Hikmat’s action Punjabi film considers the globally hit film.
Till date no film in the history of Pakistan has able to earn 200 crore rupees. However, ‘TLOMJ’ has achieved this honor in just one and a half months. ‘
The Legend of Maula Jatt’ releases last month on October 13 worldwide, including in Pakistan. And becomes the first Pakistani film to be shown on more screens abroad than at home.
The film screens on 500 cinema screens worldwide and became a record grosser in the UK, surpassing Indian films.

This film also becomes the first Pakistani film to earn 1 crore rupees in the first 10 days. While now The Legend… becomes not only the first Pakistani film but also the first Punjabi film to earn 200 crore rupees.
The one-and-a-half month earnings of TLOMJ has also included it in the list of several global super hit films.
The film has also enters the list of Hollywood films, including India, which have earned Rs 2 crore.
In a post made on the official Instagram page of the film, it was confirmed that The Legend of Maula Jatt first Pakistani film to earn a record 200 cr in one and a half months worldwide.
The Legend… made at a cost of around Rs 70 crore and takes up to five years to make, but the film earned double its budget.
The film is a remake of the 1979 film ‘Maula Jatt’, starring Hamza Ali Abbasi, Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Humima Malik among others.
