Sindh Govt to launch Women-Only Bus Service. Government on Thursday announced to launch Pink Peoples Bus Service in Karachi which will be totally for women.
Taking to Twitter, Sindh Information and Transport minister Sharjeel Inam Memon publicized that Pink Bus Service for women will start in Karachi from February 1.
“Inshallah Pink buses will start their operation from 1st February in Karachi,” he tweeted.
The pink bus service will run from Model Colony Malir to Tower via Shahrah-e-Faisal, the transport minister broadcasted. Adding that buses will operate throughout working hours in the morning and evening after every 20 minutes.
Previously, Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon publicized to launch pink taxi cab service for women in Karachi.
“The government decided to launch tax services in Karachi under Sindh Mass Transit Authority.” He said, adding that the pink tax service for women launched in the first phase.

Memon additionally said that pink taxis driven by women whereas cameras installed inside cars.
Previously on January 13, the transport Minister publicized the launch of Pakistan’s first-ever electric bus service in Karachi.

Sindh Govt to Launch Women-Only Bus Service. The transport minister inaugurated the Peoples Electric Bus Service alongside with Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Sindh Labour Minister Saeed Ghani at Clock Tower, Seaview.
At the inauguration ceremony, the provincial minister travelled in the bus and appraised its facilities.
