The caretaker government has given a big shock to the people. New price of petrol is Rs. 290.45. The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notification to increase the prices of petroleum products for the next 15 days. According to that the price of petrol per liter will be 17 rupees 50 paisa. While high speed diesel price has been increased by Rs 20 per liter.
After the increase, the new price of petrol is 290 rupees 45 paisa. While the new price of high speed diesel is 293 rupees 40 paisa per liter.
According to the sources, there is a fear of further increase in the prices due to non-arrival of more supply of oil.
Apart from this, due to the increase in the prices of petroleum products, the pump owners stopped the sale of petrol in different cities. The anxiety of the citizens has increased sharply.
Meanwhile, local marketing companies have increased the price of LPG by Rs 10 per kg. After which the price of LPG per kg has increased to Rs 220 per kg.

According to Irfan Khokhar, chairman of LPG Distributors Association, after the increase, the price of domestic cylinder has increased by Rs. 120 and the price of commercial cylinder has increased by Rs. 450. This is happening while in the hilly areas, LPG is being sold at 255 rupees per kg, domestic cylinder at 3015 rupees and commercial cylinder at 11600 rupees.
