Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali opened up about Shahid-Kareena’s break-up during the shooting of Jab We Met.

During an interview, the film’s director Imtiaz Ali praised the professional style of Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.
Imtiaz Ali said that during most of the shooting of the film, they were in a relationship, but in the final moments of the shooting of the film, they broke up.
He said that two days after the announcement of their break-up, both the stars returned to the set and Shahid-Kareena’s break-up did not affect their acting.
Apart from this, Imtiaz Ali also told during the same interview that Bobby Deol and Preity Zinta were his first choices for the star cast of this film.
