Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar has said that the decision of the Supreme Court is being insulted, police is registering FIR and making threats.
He said this while talking to media along with PTI leaders after hearing in the Election Commission on three petitions of Omar Ayub regarding alleged interference of Punjab government in by-elections.
He said that the PTI had shown flexibility in the July 1 decision of the Supreme Court and accepted Hamza Shahbaz.
Asad Umar said that the status of Hamza Shahbaz is not more than the caretaker Chief Minister, this government is not going to last long.
He said that the Supreme Court had given clear instructions not to affect the by-elections but since the day the decision of the Supreme Court came, the law has been flouted.
Asad Umar says that all the officers who are working illegally will not be spared.
He said that every effort is being made to rig the election but it is not going to happen.
Asad Umar alleged that officers of educational institutions in Punjab were replaced.
He also said that the Election Commission has issued verbal instructions and hoped that written orders would be issued soon.
