The Punjab government on Friday proclaimed scholarship program for thousands of non-Muslim students of the province, reported TV channel.
Under the program, students enrolled in PhD and MPhil programs will be given Rs50, 000 in stipend while those doing masters and MSc will obtain Rs35,000 by the provincial government.
Respectively, those doing graduation and BSc will get Rs30,000 in stipend, while those doing intermediate and matriculation Rs20,000 and Rs15,000, correspondingly.
The students securing 50 percent marks, in their last examination will be eligible to stipends under the program.
Further that, total income of the whole family of the applicant should be less than Rs35,000.
The aspiring students were asked to submit their applications to the Department of Human and Minorities Affairs by September 29, 2022, adding that no application would be entertained after the due date.
