A healthy lifestyle can go a long way in protecting a person from chronic diseases. Eating grapes prolongs life.
In a study, it reveals that consuming about two plates of grapes in the diet prolongs the life of a person by reducing the fat on the liver.
To find out the benefits of consuming grapes, rats fed a high-fat diet. Then they given daily grapefruit juice. Which results in less fat on the liver of the mice and lived longer than other mice.
In fact, consuming grapes with a high-fat diet also increases the level of antioxidant genes that slow down natural death.

The research, publishes in the series journal Food, was conducted under the guidance of John Pizzotto. He is dean of Western New England University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
The study determined whether grapefruit could counteract the effects of a high-fat Western diet.
Professor Dean John Pizzoto says that the change reveals in the research will be related to an increase in human life of 4 to 5 years.
