Asif Ali Zardari elected as 14th Pakistan President

The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari will take place today at four o’clock in the evening at the President’s House in Islamabad.

Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa will administer oath to newly elected President Asif Ali Zardari.

Yesterday Asif Zardari of PPP elected the 14th president of the country with a huge majority.

Asif Zardari got 411 and opposition candidate Mehmood Khan Achakzai got 181 electoral votes.

In celebration members of the People’s Party celebrated, threw bangles, and displayed fireworks.

With the announcement of the election of Asif Ali Zardai as President, people gathered in front of the Punjab Assembly. At Charing Cross, shouted slogans Jiay Bhutto and Asif Zardai sab pe bhari.

The enthusiastic Jiyalas danced well on party songs. Pakistan People’s Party leader Chaudhry Mansha attended the Data Darbar along with his colleagues.

PPP leader Syed Hasan Murtaza said that it is a matter of pride for PPP that Asif Ali Zardai has been elected as the President for the second time in the history of Pakistan.

Syed Hasan Murtaza said in his address to the workers that the President’s House will be used for the supremacy of the constitution and the law.

He said that today Balochistan, where Mehmood Achakzai used to practice nationalist politics, has rejected them. Today is the time to bring all units together and walk together.

On this occasion, women workers also shouted slogans in favor of Asif Ali Zardari.
