Looks like the Hollywood way of dressing isn’t over yet! Tonight, at the New York City premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine, Blake Lively paid homage to the iconic red Deadpool suit worn by her husband Ryan Reynolds in the iconic franchise. Although, for this latest installment, the skintight action suit was less of a Marvel anti-hero.
Lively’s red catsuit was courtesy of Atelier Versace, one of her most-worn labels on the red carpet.
The off-the-shoulder silhouette—made of a red-coated, latex-like material and featuring a boning, embroidered bodice—is from Versace’s fall 2024 collection Catsuits inspired me.
A red carpet can look like an Easter egg. Rumors are currently swirling that the actor will appear as Lady Deadpool in the new film, so perhaps this fashion choice was confirmation of that cameo. Or, maybe she was just celebrating her man, and using the moment to make a subjective change.
Either way, we’d love to see Lively kill some bad guys in this outfit especially if he did it with his best friend Gigi Hadid. Can you say tough?
