BMW unveils car that can change color

BMW unveils car that can change color. BMW on Wednesday unveiled a prototype of a car that can change color. Car can also changes display digital features such as projecting driving data through the windshield.

This car called the i Vision Dee. The car unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas at an event attended by ‘Terminator’ actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

BMW unveiled a color-changing car at the same show last year, but only from white to black and gray in between.

But the body of a new car can change to a rainbow of colors, a solid color or stripes or checks.

The BMW i Vision Dee is currently just an idea but is believed to shape the design of future cars from the luxury manufacturer.

For example, having driving data such as speed or direction flash on the windshield is scheduled to be an option by 2025.

BMW also raises the possibility of projecting augmented reality images on the windshield and turning it into a full screen with technology that blends the “real and virtual world”.

Oliver Zips, BMW chief says the idea is to use software to create the “ultimate companion” that offers a personalized driving experience.

The name Dee stands for Digital Emotional Experience.
