Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the only solution to the economic and political crisis in the country is to conduct clean and transparent elections, for this a new Election Commission should be formed. Members of the Election Commission should be made who are trusted by everyone.
In a video address to the meetings held in different cities, the former prime minister said that three and a half months ago, our government was terminated by an external conspiracy and people were seated in the cabinet, 60 percent of whom were on bail and had corruption cases against them. They were doing corruption for 30 years.
He said that we were treated as sheep and it was understood that if anyone is imposed on them, the nation will silently accept them like sheep.
Imran Khan said that not only our government was removed, but a whole program was made to suppress us some how and our party could not rise.
He said that on May 25, when we held a peaceful protest against the foreign conspiracy and against the imposition of the most corrupt people on us, in front of the entire nation, the way women, children and families were oppressed, all of them were in front of me.
He said that I thank Allah that in these three and a half years, instead of the nation sitting in their homes in fear, the people of Pakistan started to become one nation.
Imran Khan said that in the war of 1965 everyone felt that we had become a nation because at that time a nation stood up and after that for the first time I have seen my country become a nation in 2018 elections, also I did not see people turn out in the way that was in by-elections of Punjab.
