During their medical tests, experts check the level of the chemical ‘serum sodium‘ in their blood. Then ask them questions about their dietary habits.
According to research, the ‘Serum Sodium‘ test measures the level of salts, commonly known as water, in the human body.
What is Serum Sodium?
Experts found that individuals with high ‘serum sodium‘ not only looked older than their actual age, but also noted a number of medical problems.
According to research, the normal ‘serum sodium’ level is 135 to 145 mmol/l i.e. (millimol per liter) but if the level is high in any person, it is clear that he is suffering from salts deficiency.
Experts says that due to lack of salt or water, a person not only gets old quickly, but other internal organs including kidneys and lungs also do not work properly. Due to which many diseases can occur in them.
The research reveals that with increasing age, the lack of salts or water in the human body increases and the amount of water to drink is not the same at every age.
Experts also clarifies that tea, coffee, fresh juices and other drinks are not substitutes for replenishing the body’s salts or water deficit. But they can cause more problems.
