Drone cameras banned in Sindh. According to News on Wednesday, the Sindh Home Department has issued a notification prohibiting the use of drone cameras during the month of Muharram.
In order to ensure public safety, the Sindh Home Department forbade the use of drone cameras during Muharram processions and other religious gatherings.
According to the notification, drone camera use completely prohibited, and permission not granted for any type of coverage or recordings of the Muharram processions for security reasons.
The violators will face legal repercussions from the authorities.
Earlier, the Pakistan Army’s nationwide deployment during Muharram decided by the Federal Ministry of Interior.
A circular sent to the provinces stated, “Army troops deployed throughout the nation under Article 245.” Gilgit Baltistan, the Azad Kashmir government, and four provinces received a circular from the interior ministry.
According to the ministry, “the military troops deployed at the provinces’ request for the maintenance of law and order.”
Noted that the Punjab government requested on Wednesday that the Pakistan Army and Rangers stationed in the province to uphold law and order throughout Muharram.
