Hina Parvez Butt heckled in London. Hina Pervaiz Butt, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), claims that a group of PTI individuals heckled her while she was out in public in London with her son.

Ms. Butt criticized the PTI supporters and referred to them as “uncivilized” while posting the incident’s video on social media.

According to her, the PTI supporters cursed at her and threw bottles at her. She claimed that the nation’s reputation tarnished by such barbaric people.

Political figures and others have criticized the incident harshly.

Shireen Mazari, a former PTI leader and minister for human rights, “strongly condemned the filthy abuse and attack” directed at the PML-N leader.

“Strongly condemn the filthy abuse & attack against Hina P Butt in London. No one shd stoop to the gutter level of Kh Asif & those of his ilk who have repeatedly abused PTI women (I was one such target) while PMLN & allied parties’ women remained silent or smirked. Criticism is acceptable but abuse of women is always unacceptable,” she wrote on Twitter.

Ahsan Iqbal, the leader of the PML-N, also criticized the incident and claimed that Ms. Butt’s hecklers were PTI supporters.

Shaza Fatima Khawaja from the PML-N wrote in a social media post: “There’s a difference between freedom of expression/ peaceful political protest and harassing/ attacking/ stalking people you don’t agree with.

Later, Hina Parvez Butt thanked the people for speaking alongside the incidents, saying that the matter was not about her but the reputation of Pakistan.
