Malick jokingly observed that Pakistanis appear to have overlooked any errors Hashmi may have made, considering how people curse and make fun of his name, during an appearance on YouTuber Moin Zubair’s podcast.
Malick only had positive things to say about Hashmi despite the trolling. She praised him as a wonderful friend, incredible actor, and amazing person.

She also emphasized their shared religious ties, mentioning how they used to recite verses from the Quran together, and she emphasized Hashmi’s gracious and considerate character.
Malick urged people to abandon pessimistic viewpoints and stop making irrational remarks.
