Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari’s statement comes out on the deteriorating condition of elephant Noor Jahan in Karachi Zoo.
Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari said that Karachi Zoo should be closed now.
She added that because it became clear that running the zoo was beyond the capacity of the KMC.
It should noted that the condition of the elephant Noor Jahan in Karachi Zoo is still critical. The director of the zoo says that the condition of the elephant Noor Jahan is getting worse at the moment.
“Her chances of survival are not high,” Marina Ivanova, senior project manager at Four Paws states.
Noor Jehan has been lying on a pile of sand against the sole tree inside her cage, looking weaker than ever. Her eyes are barely open and she is hardly making any movement.

Director Karachi Zoo Kunwar Ayub said that the Sindh government has also formed a team of veterinarians. The zoo has no shortage of anything including medicines.
Kanwar Ayub said that the elephant’s condition is not improving despite the medicine, all the doctors including the Four Paws team are trying to save the elephant.
He said that the entire staff is present in the zoo to take care of the elephant.
