Morocco makes history as they reach World Cup semi-final

FIFA World Cup 2022: Morocco makes history as they reach World Cup semi-final. Fans are surprised to know the number of goals scored by the rival teams so far against the Moroccan team. Morocco is the first African & Arab team who reaches the FIFA World Cup semi-finals ever.

In the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup, Morocco defeated Portugal 0-1 to reach the semi-finals for the first time. After which Morocco became the first Arab and the first African team to reach the semi-finals in the history of the World Cup.

Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou plays a very important role for this historic win. To reach the semi-finals of the Football World Cup, Morocco plays 5 matches. In which the opposing team manage to score against them in only one match.

In the last and most important match of the group, Morocco defeats Canada 1-2.

The pre-quarter knockout and victory in the main match between Morocco and Spain decided on penalty kicks. In this match Morocco scores 3 goals while the opposition scored none.

In the quarter-finals, Morocco defeats Portugal 0-1. Yassine Bounou also played a key role in his team’s victory, thwarting several powerful attacks that could have been decisive goals.
