Bollywood’s versatile and popular actor Naseeruddin Shah has said that he uses his film awards as the door handle of the washroom.
The legendary actor has received numerous awards for outstanding performances during his film career spanning more than half a century.
In a recent interview, the senior actor revealed that I never take these awards or trophies seriously nor do they hold any value in my eyes.
He says he uses his Filmfare awards as the door handle of his farmhouse washroom.
It may be remembered that Naseeruddin Shah has won three National Awards for the films Paar, Sparsh and Iqbal. While he has received three Filmfare Awards for outstanding performance in the films Akrosh, Chakra and Masoom.

Naseeruddin Shah, 72, from Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki district, said he felt the awards were due to lobbying within the industry.
