Sarfaraz Ahmed scolded many times: Babar Azam

Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam has said that Sarfaraz Ahmed scolded him many times in the past.

The Pakistan Cricket Board shared a video from inside the national team’s dressing room on social media in which the players paid tribute to Sarfaraz Ahmed and Abdullah Shafiq for crossing individual milestones.

On this occasion, the players praised Sarfaraz Ahmed and Abdullah Shafiq and expressed good wishes for them.

In the dressing room, captain Babar Azam said to Sarfaraz Ahmed that it is very encouraging for me that I played under Sarfraz’s captaincy and I have learned a lot from him.

Babar Azam said that Sarfaraz Ahmed also scolded by him who had love behind him. Those scoldings were only because he was expecting us to win the match for Pakistan.

Babar Azam further said that Sarfaraz always wanted us to do good that would make the name of Pakistan bright.

Captain Babar Azam said that the way Sarfaraz achieved this success through 3 years of waiting and hard work is encouraging for every player. Sarfaraz proved that a man should prove himself whenever he gets a chance.

Babar Azam said that even in the last series, Sarfaraz got the man of the series award, behind all this his real hard work hidden.

It should be noted that Sarfaraz Ahmed has completed 3000 runs in Test cricket in the first Test match against Sri Lanka. While Abdullah Shafiq has completed 1000 runs in the 24th Test innings.
